Lizz-a-Belle

Lizzy will be 1 year old in a few days. My little baby is not a baby an longer...she is almost walking. Her attitude is popping out here and there. Uugh! tells me all I need to know. She wants this or she wants that. But she is very sweet as well.

The other night I was putting her down for the night and as always I hold her tight and kiss her on the forehead. But that night I held on a little tighter and held her a little longer and for the first time, I felt that all consuming, I can't live without you, you make me happier than I have ever been, feeling. That all so powerful love for your child. I have been waiting for this for a while now, and it finally got here. It's that feeling that when you breath them in, you know you would suffocate without them. A mothers' love.

When It Rains.......

When it rains, it pours.....Today was not so good. At about 4:30 am this morning, I looked out the window and discovered Brian's truck was not in the driveway. I rubbed my eyes to make sure I was not still asleep and when I looked again, it was still missing. BRIAN'S TRUCK GOT STOLEN OUT OF OUR DRIVEWAY! Can you believe that?

Apparently, there were a few other neighbors that got picked on. Various things stolen, loose change, cd's, GPS's, and other grabable things. Looks like the thieves are targeting this area of Greenville this week. The police said that last week it was the neighborhood next to us. I guess they are moving down the road.

I hope the truck is lost forever. I don't think that I could get in it again. yuck! who knows who has been in it and what they have done.

Things I'm thankful for.... my Lord above, my husband and children and that everyone is safe and it was only material, replaceable objects that were concerned.

Things I'm pissed about... the fact that they got an bank account number and now I have to change everything. (what a pain)

Another Late Night Entry

I read on someones blog the other day, that they were at a loss for words. She blogged as an outlet from her crazy days with kids and family life. But, lately the words wouldn't come. I understood where she was coming from. By the time I get to my keyboard, my mind is so exhausted that the idea I had earlier has escaped me.

I would love to be one of those SAHM's that get PAID for their blogging efforts. But most of them are writers by profession. I'm sure they have a natural talent for topics of conversation.

I always have a funny idea rolling around in my mind, but as my time is consumed by "real life" during the day, it's not easy to blog about it late at night.

For now I will keep typing away and maybe add some cool pictures that I have come across. I got this one from MorBCN on Flickr. It's from his vacation in Venice. His pic's from Amsterdam as pretty great too. If you get a chance go check out his/her work. It's beautiful.

Lizzy in Daycare! AAAAAAHHHHHH!.

Are we ready? Am I ready? I'm not sure if I'm ready to let someone else take my little girl all day and put her down for her nap in the afternoon. I know she's old enough and needs to start interacting with the other little ones. It's time to start the "social skills" thing. But she's my little girl. And to just hand her over to someone else everyday......

On the other side of this boo hoo party,
I don't get anything done during the day. I'm going to fail my classes because little princess is so demanding of me. I can't even get a load of laundry done.

I remember when Tyler started daycare. It was hard the first day or two. But then, the freedom was great.
